A top-down bottom-up window covering 100 for easy assembly and maintenance which is installed at a fixture 101 and has a covering material 30 and first 10 and second beams 20 which contain lifting structures 40 and 50. The lifting structures comprise at least one first and one second pulling cords and moveable members 43 and 53, where an end of the pulling cord is connected 49a to the fixture and another end is connected to the moveable member, so that when the beam is moved the pulling cord and movable member move concurrently. The second pulling cord may pass through the first beam without making any turns. The movable members may have a flexible wing and the beam may have a guide slot in which the movable member is positioned. The beams may each have a structure that comprises a spring wheel, a spring holding wheel and a coil spring, where an end of the spring wheel is connected to a driven gear which meshes with a driving gear. The cord reel may be conical in shape.
