A support structure for fire rated wall panelling
The structure comprises a frame with a number of spaced elongate horizontal 10 and vertical 12 cross members. The elongate members are supported onto a wall using a spacing member 14. The spacing member comprises a base 18 with side members 20, 22 on opposing side extending orthogonally from the base, preferably in opposite directions. The base defines in part the distance required for ventilation between a cladding panel 16 and wall. The spacing member has intumescent material applied to it and the elongate members may have intumescent material applied.
