A modular precast concrete component 11 for use in a precast concrete building structure (10, Fig 1), the component comprising a plurality of load bearing members 12 arranged such that gaps (13, Fig 2) are defined between the members. Further disclosed is a building structure comprised of a plurality of components, the components preferably being semi-circular and having interconnection features (42, 43, Figure 15) whereby the load bearing members intersect with each other. The components may be pre-stressed and be diagrid components with an upper and lower beam 47, 48. The structure may be post tensioned with cable elements (33, Fig 22) with a cable tensioning mechanism, and reinforced internally of the structure across an internal diameter. Further disclosed is a mould for forming the components, and a method of manufacturing the building.
