Installing a window assembly
The window assembly comprises an outboard frame 12 and an inboard frame 14, each defining a respective opening with a respective window sash 16, 24 mounted therein. The outboard and inboard frame are connected together and define a cavity in between. The window sashes are pivotally mounted to their respective frames and are openable. A method of installing the window assembly is also defined wherein inlets and outlets of the window are selected positions for the sashes and they are determined by locating the relative position of an ambient noise source to the window and selecting the positions remote from the noise source. The assembly may include sound deflecting members or sound attenuation members between the inboard and outboard frames.
