A resin for a floor for automated guided vehicles
The invention relates to a reinforced resin for use on a floor, such as an industrial floor, supporting automated guided vehicles, the reinforced resin comprising a resin and silicon carbide powder. Preferably, the resin is an epoxy or polyurethane resin. In some embodiments, the resin also comprises aluminium oxide. An anti-static additive, preferably carbon fibre, may also be included. In a preferred embodiment, the silicon carbide powder is spread over the pre-laid resin. A flooring comprising the reinforced resin and a base is also claimed. Preferably, the base is wooden. Methods of laying the flooring are also claimed.
