A pipe guide assembly 1 for guiding a utility pipe 14 through a building member, such as a wall, comprising a mounting member 10 and a cover plate 12. The mounting member is attachable to the subsurface (44, fig 7) of a building member, and the cover plate is attached over an outer surface (48, fig 7) of the building member. The mounting member and cover pate are configured with guid members to together guide the utility pipe through both the mounting member and the cover plate and through the outer surface, to retain the utility pipe as it exists the cover plate at an oblique angle to the outer surface of the building member. The guid members comprise a guiding channel which curves the pipe to the required angle, the guide channel having a first portion open to the rear of the mounting member and a second portion open to the front of the mounting member to hand off the pipe to the cover plate. The cover plate may be continuously adjustable with respect to the mounting member. The mounting member may have holes to allow it to be attached to the subsurface with a screw 40. The cover plate may be a sealing member which guides the utility pipes via a sealing means 16.
