Modular flood defence barrier system
A modular flood defence barrier 100 comprising a foundation 210, a first and a second post 130 attachable to the foundation wherein each post comprises a post attachment part (131, fig 6), at least one panel 140 comprising a first and a second panel attachment part (143, fig 7); and a seal comprising a first and a second seal member. The panel attachment part interlocks with the post attachment part and the first seal member covers a gap between the panel and the first post, and the second seal member covers a gap between the panel and the second post. The foundation may be wedge shaped and lay over the ground, or be buried in the ground. Preferably the foundation has a watertight reservoir and a non-return valve for automatically filling with water during flood. The panel may comprise multiple panel slats with seals between the slats.
