A fitting 10 for a pipe 16, the fitting comprising a body portion 12, the body portion comprising a first end portion 12a, the first end portion being attachable to an end portion of the pipe; and a second end portion 12b, the second end portion being attachable to a valve device 18; and a mounting portion 14, the mounting portion being located on the body portion between the first end portion and the second end portion, wherein the mounting portion is configured to receive a fixing member 20. The valve device may comprise a valve fixing bracket 18a which may receive the second end portion 12b of the body portion through an aperture 18b. The valve fixing device may comprise a device attachment portion 18c into which the valve device is screwed. There is also claimed a system comprising first and second pipe fittings of the sort described above (fig 4). There is also claimed a method of attaching a fitting between a pipe and a valve fixing.
