Rodent ingress prevention apparatus
A rodent ingress prevention apparatus for a wall cavity comprising: a body 112 being substantially box like, and comprising a base panel (124), side panels (120, 122) a front panel (116) and a rear panel (118) constructed to form a void (126) therein, wherein each of the front panel and the rear panel are provided with a pipe receiving section (134, 136) configured to receive a pipe, and a plate receiver formation (130, 132); a plurality of retainer plates 114 wherein at least one of the plurality of retainer plates is shaped to accommodate a pipe; and a filler material; wherein in use the rodent ingress prevention apparatus is installed in the wall cavity of a building and a pipe is inserted in the pipe receiving section, bridging the void, and the plurality of retainer plates are inserted into the plate receiver formations to close off the remainder of the pipe receiving section around the pipe thereby creating a larger void suitable for filling with the filler material.
