The platform support assembly includes a first ground beam 31 arranged to sit on the ground and a first support 37 mounted on the first ground beam, wherein the first support 37 is arranged to at least partly support the platform above the ground surface and to transfer loads from the platform to the first ground beam. The assembly further comprises a second ground beam 33 arranged to sit on the ground and a second support 41 arranged to partly support the platform above a car park and transfer loads from the platform and to the ground beam. A car park including the building and a method for construction the building is also disclosed.
