A window blind headrail 2 that has a headrail body 4 which defines a longitudinal axis and has a front wall 10 or plate. The headrail also includes a pair of end covers 6a, 6b or panels which are slidably attached to the headrail body and slide axially relative to the front wall. Each end cover has an extended configuration 6b, where part of the end cover projects beyond a respective end of the headrail body. The front wall may have upper engagement portions or lips that engage with each of covers. The engagement portions may be in the form of downwardly projecting skirts and each end cover may have a receiving portion which forms a snap-fit with the skirt. There may lower engagement portions which may be in the form of upwardly projecting ribs which couple with a coupling portion on the end covers.
