A clip for attaching a roofing sheet onto an underlying support structure, comprising: a base having a first end, the first end comprises a tapped hole extending along the length of the base for receiving a threaded fastener through the support structure, as such the base is fixedly attachable to an upper surface of the support structure by the tapped hole; and an anchor formed at a second end of the base, the anchor having side protrusions engageable with sidewalls in a channel of the roofing sheet for forming attachment therewith.
