A clip 7 for connecting a picket 3 to a rail 2 comprising a flexible portion 8a, 8b having a width greater than a width of another part of the clip, and a resiliently deformable portion 9 at an end of the clip away from the flexible portion and deformable perpendicular to the width. In use the deformable portion rests on the inside of the rail, and the flexible portions protrude through apertures in the picket onto the underside of the rail. Further disclosed is a panel using the clip, a kit and a method. The specification discloses 3 further arrangements of fence panels with picket securing arrangement using indented pickets, a rod within the rail a picket cap within a rail channel.
