Portable medical facility
A portable medical facility 100 comprises a free-standing housing 1 having a perimeter defined by a plurality of walls and with at least one door. At least one limb 5a/b extends from one of the walls, the limb having a fully extended configuration outside the perimeter and a stowed configuration where it is located within the perimeter. The walls may be formed from metal or a composite material. The housing may comprise an ISO 668 shipping container or an Offshore DNV 2.7-1 container. The limb may comprise rigid walls and may extend and retract perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing. A pair of limbs may be provided and may be mounted on at least one wheel 15. The pair of limbs may be nested in the stowed configuration. The housing may comprise power 6, fluid and gas inlets and/or outlets and at least one ventilation unit 8. An environment control unit may control temperature and/or humidity.
