A portable cabin and method of transporting portable cabins
A method of transporting portable cabins which comprise a flat roof 2 and floor 3 connected by side walls 5. A layer of lightweight or flexible solar material 10 attached flat to the flat roof. The method comprises releasable attaching a protective layer 16 to cover the solar material and transporting the cabin with the covered solar material in place. Stacking elements 18 may be provided on the flat roof and/or floor so that when cabins are stacked the elements form a space for the solar material. The solar material may have no glass layer and may be frameless. The solar material is adhered to the flat roof. The cabin may comprise a mechanical fastening mechanism 15 attached to the roof for releasably attaching the protective layer. A portable cabin with layer of lightweight or flexible solar material attached flat to a flat roof may comprise batons to which the solar material is attached. The solar material may be inclined with respect to the roof.
