The predetermined location may be a car wash and the closure a charge flap of an EV such that upon proximity to a car wash the charge flap is locked closed to otherwise avoid accidental release of pressure release mechanism. The system may determine whether the vehicle is below a speed threshold as to whether to output a lock signal. The system may include other comfort features such as retracting side mirrors or door handles. Also mentioned is powered closure of tailgates and windows.
