BOOM OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom of construction machinery, which can secure required rigidity even when a lower plate 34 and a reinforcement plate 58 are not welded together, and which can avoid causing a crack in a welded part.SOLUTION: The reinforcement plate 58 placed within a boom 18 is formed in a gate shape along each of intermediate-part side plates 46 and 46 and an intermediate-part upper plate 52. An outer periphery 58a of the reinforcement plate 58 is joined to each of the intermediate-part side plates 46 and 46 and the intermediate-part upper plate 52. A predetermined interval is put between a lower end of the reinforcement plate 58 and an inner surface of the lower plate 34.
【課題】下板34と補強板58とが溶接されていなくても所要の剛性を確保することができると共に、溶接部に亀裂が入ることを回避することができる建設機械のブームを提供する。【解決手段】ブーム18の内部に配設されている補強板58が各中間部側板46,46及び中間部上板52に沿って門型状に形成され、補強板58の外周58aは各中間部側板46,46及び中間部上板52に接合されており、補強板58の下端と下板34の内面とは所定の間隔が空けられている。【選択図】図1
