PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably perform vertical joint welding of steel pipe sheet piles, without making a joint become a hindrance, when the steel pipe sheet piles are vertically joint-welded by being held in a horizontal direction on a construction site and the like.SOLUTION: A rotary auxiliary tool 20, which can be divided into at least two parts and which has a notched recess 21 provided in the state of facing a joint attached to an outer periphery of a steel pipe sheet pile 100, is attached to the outer periphery of the steel pipe sheet pile 100. The steel pipe sheet pile 100 fitted with the rotary auxiliary tool 20 is loaded on at least two rotary loading platforms 30, and supported to be rotatable in such a manner that a longitudinal axis line of the steel pipe sheet pile 100 is set as the center of rotation. Vertical joint welding is performed while the steel pipe sheet pile 100 is rotated by a rotary device 33 that is provided in at least one of the rotary loading platforms 30.
【課題】 施工現場等において鋼管矢板を水平方向に保持して縦継ぎ溶接する際に、継手が邪魔にならずに、容易かつ確実に鋼管矢板同士を縦継ぎ溶接する。【解決手段】 少なくとも２つに分割可能であり、鋼管矢板１００の外周に取り付けられた継手に対向して設けた切欠凹部２１を有する回転補助具２０を鋼管矢板１００の外周に取り付ける。少なくとも２つの回転載置台３０上に、回転補助具２０を取り付けた鋼管矢板１００を載置して、当該鋼管矢板１００の長手方向の軸線を回転中心として回転可能に支持する。回転載置台３０の少なくとも１つに設けた回転装置３３により、鋼管矢板１００を回転させながら、縦継ぎ溶接を行う。【選択図】図１
