PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation material which can improve the efficiency of construction.SOLUTION: This invention provides a heat insulation material 10 that is fitted into between support materials disposed in parallel and supported thereby, the heat insulation material having a rectangular plate-like heat insulation material body 21, and a sheet-like member 30 covering side faces 12,12 of the heat insulation material body 21 that are supported by the support materials, wherein the sheet-like member 30 covers 50-95% of an area of the side faces 12,12.
