PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valuable storage device capable of surely preventing unauthorized use of storing or setting up a suspicious object or an explosive substance by a third person in a storage box before starting use.SOLUTION: A valuable storage device is provided with at least one of storage boxes 4 whose doors 2 can be locked/unlocked by using installed electric locks, respectively, and includes facility side approval data reading means 7 and biometric authentication reading means 8 for reading facility side approval data approved by the facility side capable of identifying a user by the facility side, and is locked after storing a valuable in the storage box after unlocking the door 2 by issuing an unlocking signal of the door of the storage box locked by the electric lock based on biometric authentication data read by the biometric authentication reading means 8 and facility side approval data read by the facility side approval data reading means 7, and outputs an unlockable signal to the electric lock only when coinciding with biometric authentication data when depositing the valuable by reading the biometric authentication data again by the biometric authentication reading means 7.
【課題】使用開始前の収納ボックスに、第三者が不審物や爆発物を収納したり、仕掛けたりする不正使用を確実に防止することができる貴重品保管装置を提供する。【解決手段】扉２の施錠・解錠をそれぞれ設置された電気錠で行なう、少なくとも１個以上の収納ボックス４を備えた貴重品保管装置において、利用者を施設側で特定することができる施設側で承認を得た施設側承認データを読み取る施設側承認データ読み取り手段７及び生体認証読み取り手段８と、生体認証読み取り手段８で読み取った生体認証データおよび施設側承認データ読み取り手段７で読み取った施設側承認データに基づいて、電気錠で施錠されている収納ボックスの扉の解錠信号を出して解錠し、収納ボックス内に貴重品を収納して施錠し、生体認証読み取り手段７で生体認証データを再度読み取り、貴重品預け入れ時の生体認証データと一致した場合にだけ解錠できる信号を電気錠に出力する。【選択図】図１
