PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable two types of hoods, that is, opened-type and closed-type hoods to be separately made by using a common press molding machine, while necessary strength and rigidity are secured.SOLUTION: A hood is formed in a flat box shape from a top surface part 17 and side surface parts 18 and 18f extended downward from an outer edge of the top surface part 17. A step part 22 is provided as a configuration common to both the opened-type and closed-type hoods, in a specific portion abutting on an opening edge part of the opened-type hood 15A having an opening 21 provided on the front side surface part 18f, in a state in which a difference in height is made between both side portions with the specific portion sandwiched in between.
【課題】必要な強度・剛性を確保しながら、開放型ボンネットと閉鎖型ボンネットの二種類のボンネットを共通のプレス成形機を用いて作り分けることを可能とする。【解決手段】上面部17と、この上面部17の外縁から下向きに延びる側面部18,18fとによって扁平箱状に形成されるボンネットにおいて、開放型及び閉鎖型両ボンネットに共通の構成として、前側面部18fに開口部21が設けられる開放型ボンネット15Aの開口縁部に当たる特定部位に、この特定部位を挟んだ両側部分に高低差が生じる状態で段部22を設けた。【選択図】図3
