PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for improving the acoustic environment in rooms of a housing complex.SOLUTION: A noise masking device includes a vibration pickup 11 as vibration detecting means for detecting vibrations inside a ventilation duct 4 that constitutes a 24-hour ventilation system installed in each apartment 2 of a housing complex, a speaker 14 installed in the apartment 2 that reproduces the vibrations detected by the vibration pickup 11, and an output regulator 13 that regulates outputs from the speaker 14 to a preset level. The device regulates the vibration noise in the ventilation duct 4 collected by the vibration pickup 11 to an appropriate volume that would not annoy residents, before introducing the noise into the apartment 2.
【課題】集合住宅の居室内における音環境を向上させるための装置を提供する。【解決手段】集合住宅の各居室２に設けられている２４時間換気システムを構成する換気用ダクト４内の振動を検出する振動検出手段としての振動ピックアップ１１と、居室２内に設置されて振動ピックアップ１１で検出した振動を再生するスピーカー１４と、スピーカー１４の出力を予め設定したレベルに調整する出力調整器１３とを備え、振動ピックアップ１１で採取した換気用ダクト４内の振動音を、居住者がうるささを感じないような適度な音量に調整して居室２に導入するようにした。【選択図】図１
