CONFINEMENT PREVENTION DEVICE OF KEY-FREE PORTABLE MACHINE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To learn a state that a portable machine is located outside a vehicle and within a prescribed distance, and to improve determination accuracy for determining which side of the inside or the outside of the vehicle the portable machine exists in.SOLUTION: A radio wave intensity of a collation signal when a portable machine 15 receives the collation signal from a key-free memory ECU 11 is held in a memory 11a as a confinement prevention threshold while considering that a prescribed condition is satisfied by the fact that a failure diagnosis device 20 is connected to the key-free memory ECU 11, and a learning mode is set in a state that the portable machine 15 is located outside a trunk room (vehicle outside) and within a prescribed distance from an own vehicle 1, and the presence/absence of the confinement of the portable machine 15 is determined on the basis whether or not the radio wave intensity of the collation signal when a response signal indicating that the collation signal is received is transmitted from the portable machine 15 is higher than the confinement prevention threshold which is held in the memory 11a.
【課題】携帯機が車外であって所定距離内にある状態を学習するようにし、携帯機が車内外のどちらにあるかの判定精度を向上できるようにする。【解決手段】携帯機15がトランクルーム外(車外)であって自車両1から所定距離内にある状態で、故障診断装置20がキーフリーECU11に接続されて学習モードの設定がなされることにより所定の保持条件を満たしたとして、キーフリーECU11からの照合信号を携帯機15が受信するときの照合信号の電波強度を閉じ込み防止しきい値としてメモリ11aに保持し、携帯機15から照合信号を受信したことを表わす応答信号が送信されるときの照合信号の電波強度が、メモリ11aに保持された閉じ込み防止しきい値よりも高いかどうかに基づき、携帯機15の閉じ込みの有無を判定する。【選択図】図2
