LOAD BEARING WALL WITH DIAGONAL MEMBER AND DEFORMATION ABSORPTION ELEMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load bearing wall with diagonal member and deformation absorption element superior in energy absorption performance with fewer steel material amount, which exhibits a fusiform load deformation history, and superior in thermal characteristics and sound insulation performance, and is capable of forming an opening for piping at a generally desired point.SOLUTION: A load bearing wall 1 includes: right and left vertical frame materials 3; a top lateral frame member 4 and a bottom lateral frame member 5; and plural lateral frame members 6 as crosspieces. The load bearing wall 1 is partitioned into plural partition layers a1-a4 by the plural lateral frame members 6 as crosspieces, and each of the partition layers a1-a4 is provided with a load bearing element. The load bearing element is constituted of a pair of diagonal member 8 disposed in a V or inverted V shape. A deformation absorption element 9 is provided between an end of intersection of the pair of diagonal member 8 and the lateral frame members 4 and 6 for absorbing a deformation of the partition layers a1-a4 provided with the diagonal member 8.
【課題】 紡錘型の荷重変形履歴を示しエネルギー吸収性能に優れながら、鋼材使用量が少なくて済み、かつ温熱性能と遮音性能に優れ、かつほぼ任意の箇所に配管用等の開口部を設けることができる斜材・変形吸収要素付き耐力壁を提供する。【解決手段】 耐力壁1は、左右の縦フレーム材3と上下の横フレーム材4,5と中桟となる横フレーム材6とを備え、中桟となる横フレーム材6を境界として上下に並ぶ複数の区画層a1〜a4に区画され、各区画層a1〜a4に耐力要素を設ける。耐力要素は、互いにV字または逆V字状に配置された一対の斜材8からなる。これら一対の斜材8の交点の互いの近寄り側端と横フレーム材4,6との間に、斜材8が設けられた区画層a1〜a4の変形を吸収する変形吸収要素9を設ける。【選択図】 図1
