GROUND IMPROVING METHOD AND GROUND IMPROVING STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improving method capable of reducing remaining improving soil generated and to provide a ground improving structure capable of increasing the height thereof and reducing cost.SOLUTION: In the ground improving method, improvement is applied to a part of ground in a target region 2. The method comprises: a storing region forming step in which a storing region is formed in a part of a retaining wall forming region 5 by digging the part of the retaining wall forming region 5; an earth retainer forming step in which an earth retainer 10 is formed with the improving soil in an earth retainer forming region 4 arranged between a digging region 3 in the target region 2 and the retaining wall forming region 5; a remaining soil storing step in which the remaining improving soil generated upon forming improving soil is stored in a storing region; and a retaining wall forming step in which a retaining wall 20 is entirely formed in the retaining wall forming region 5 by mixing the remaining improving soil stored in the storage region and existing soil in a region other than the storage region in the retaining wall forming region 5.
【課題】発生する改良体残土を低減することが可能な地盤改良方法、及び、自立高さの増大及びコストの低減が可能な地盤改良構造を提供すること。【解決手段】地盤改良方法は、対象領域2の一部の地盤に改良を施す地盤改良方法であって、擁壁形成領域5の一部分を掘削することにより、当該擁壁形成領域5の一部分に収容領域を形成する収容領域形成工程と、対象領域2における掘削領域3と擁壁形成領域5との相互間に設定された山留形成領域4に、改良体を用いて山留10を形成する山留形成工程と、改良体を形成する際に発生した改良体残土を収容領域に収容する残土収容工程と、収容領域に収容された改良体残土と、擁壁形成領域5における収容領域以外の領域の現地土とを攪拌混合することにより、擁壁形成領域5の全体に擁壁20を形成する擁壁形成工程と、を含む。【選択図】図1
