PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile unit which assures reliability in communication which depends on a state of a vehicle and suppresses power consumption of the mobile unit, during radio communication with the vehicle which is performed using a mobile unit.SOLUTION: A mobile unit 10 includes a reception part 14 which receives state information of a vehicle 1 from the vehicle 1, a transmission part 11 for transmitting signal to the vehicle 1, a control part 12 for controlling communication with the vehicle 1, and a memory part 13 which stores at least two signal transmission intensities, including, being set at the control part 12, a signal transmission intensity while an engine is being stopped and a signal transmission intensity while the engine is being operated with an intensity higher than the signal transmission intensity while the engine is being stopped. The control part 12 sets the signal transmission intensity which is transmitted by the transmission part 11 based on the state information received with the reception part 14 and the signal transmission intensity stored in the memory part 13, and the transmission part 11 transmits signal based on the signal transmission intensity that has been set.
【課題】 携帯機が行う車両との無線通信において、車両の状態に対応した通信の信頼性を確保すると共に、携帯機の電力消費を抑制する携帯機を提供する。【解決手段】 車両1から、車両1の状態情報を受信する受信部14と、車両1へ信号を送信する送信部11と、車両1との通信を制御する制御部12と、制御部12において設定可能なエンジン停止中の信号送信強度および、エンジン停止中の信号送信強度よりも強度の高いエンジン稼働中の信号送信強度の少なくとも2以上の信号送信強度を記憶する記憶部13と、を備え、制御部12は、受信部14で受信した状態情報と記憶部13が記憶している信号送信強度に基づいて、送信部11が送信する信号送信強度を設定し、送信部11は、設定された信号送信強度に基づいて信号を送信する、携帯機10。【選択図】 図3
