CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF BALL CHAIN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely release a loop state of a ball chain when a load not smaller than a prescribed value in a direction in which a loop is extended is applied to the loop-state ball chain irrespective of a position of a connecting member.SOLUTION: A through-hole 13a which can penetrate a ball part 11b of a ball chain is formed at a connecting main body 13 of a connecting member 12 which connects both ends of the ball chain 11, and a ball passing part 13b which communicates with the trough-hole, and allows the passage of the ball part is formed at a center external peripheral face of the connecting main body in a longitudinal direction. At least a part of a pair of slits 14, 15 which extend to both ends of the connecting main body from both ends of the ball passing part is formed narrower than a diameter of a cord part 11a of a ball chain, and a pair of protrusions 16, 17 are protrusively formed at both ends of the trough-hole or in the vicinity of the ends. An eccentric part 18 which transits the gravity center of the connecting main body to a side opposite to a face at which a pair of the slits are formed with respect to an axial line of the eccentric part is integrally formed at the connecting main body.
【課題】連結部材の位置に拘らず、ループ状のボールチェーンにループを伸ばす方向の所定値以上の荷重が作用したときに、ボールチェーンのループ状態を確実に解除する。【解決手段】ボールチェーン11の両端を連結する連結部材12の連結本体13に、ボールチェーンのボール部11bを挿通可能な通孔13aが形成され、通孔に連通しかつボール部が通過可能なボール通過部13bが連結本体の長手方向の中央外周面に形成される。また少なくともボール通過部の両端から連結本体の両端にそれぞれ向って延びて設けられた一対のスリット14,15の一部がボールチェーンのコード部11aの直径より狭く形成され、一対の突起16,17が通孔の両端又は両端近傍の内面に突設される。更に連結本体の重心をその軸線に対して一対のスリットが形成された面とは反対側に移行させる偏心部18が連結本体と一体的に設けられる。【選択図】図1
