APPARATUS FOR CONTINUOUSLY CASTING SLAG
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for continuously casting slag, capable of efficiently and stably casting and solidifying molten slag for steel making into agglomerated lumps.SOLUTION: An apparatus for continuously casting slag allows the molten slag generated in a steel making process to be held between casting molds for continuous casting and solidifying. The apparatus for continuously casting slag includes a pair of caterpillar-type casting molds opposed to each other, a slag ladle for supplying molten slag between the pair of caterpillar-type casting molds, a cutting device for cutting the semi-solidified slag extracted from between the pair of caterpillar-type casting molds into agglomerated lumps, and a holding vessel in which the agglomerated lumps of semi-solidified slag are cooled after cutting by the cutting device.
【課題】溶融した製鋼スラグを効率的かつ安定的に塊状に鋳造・凝固することができるスラグ連続鋳造装置を提供する。【解決手段】製鋼工程で発生する溶融スラグを鋳型間に挟んで連続的に鋳造して凝固するスラグ連続鋳造装置であって、対向配置された１対の無限軌道式の鋳型と、該１対の無限軌道式の鋳型の間に溶融スラグを供給するスラグ鍋と、前記１対の無限軌道式の鋳型の間から抽出される半凝固スラグを塊状に切断する切断装置と、該切断装置で切断後の塊状の半凝固スラグを徐冷する保持容器とを備えていることを特徴とするスラグ連続鋳造装置。【選択図】図１
