PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary support method of a foundation capable of inexpensively base-isolating an existing building, while securing stability of the ground, in the case of being a slight existing pile or a pile having no sufficient bearing power after excavation by damage, even if the pile does not exist in the existing building or the pile exists in the existing building.SOLUTION: A temporary support method of a foundation is a method for temporarily supporting the foundation 3 of an existing building when base-isolating the existing building 1, that is, comprises a step S1 of forming an excavation space 21a becoming narrow toward a lower part by excavating the ground 6 positioned under between columns 5 of the existing building 1 and steps S2 and S3 of temporarily holding the foundation 3 by this timbering 30 by providing the timbering 30 having a stand 31 composed of a plurality of steel frame members and a hydraulic jack 32 provided in this stand 31 on this laying iron plate 25, by providing the laying iron plate 25 in a bottom part of the excavation space 21a.

【課題】既存建物に杭が無い、あるいは、既存建物に杭があっても軽微な既成杭または損傷により掘削後は十分な支持力を有さない杭である場合に、地盤の安定性を確保しながら、既存建物を低コストで免震化できる基礎の仮支持方法提供すること。【解決手段】基礎の仮支持方法は、既存建物１を免震化する際の既存建物１の基礎３を仮支持する方法である。すなわち、既存建物１の柱５間の下方に位置する地盤６を掘削して、下方に向かうに従って狭くなる掘削空間２１ａを形成するステップＳ１と、掘削空間２１ａの底部に敷鉄板２５を設け、この敷鉄板２５に複数の鉄骨部材からなる架台３１とこの架台３１に設けられた油圧ジャッキ３２とを有する支保工３０を設けて、この支保工３０により基礎３を仮支持するステップＳ２、Ｓ３と、を備える。【選択図】図３
