PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cutoff device capable of completely cutting off water in flooding time, excellent in settlement even if a secular change and residual displacement are caused, and without having influence on building behavior in earthquake time.SOLUTION: A water cutoff device 1 is provided for preventing flooding from a horizontal slit 25 opened in the horizontal direction, and is mainly constituted of a water cutoff plate 2 movably provided in the vertical direction in a lower side skeleton 26 of the horizontal slit 25 and blocking up an opening of the horizontal slit 25 when moved upward, a floating body 3 installed on the water cutoff plate 2 and raising the water cutoff plate 2 by buoyancy in flooding time and movable side packing 4 installed on the water cutoff plate 2 for abutting on fixed side packing 5 provided in an upper side skeleton 27 of the horizontal slit 25 when the water cutoff plate 2 blocks up the opening of the horizontal slit 25 and capable of fastening to the fixed side packing 5 by magnetic force.
【課題】浸水時に完全に止水できるようにするとともに、経年変化や残留変位などが発生しても収まりがよく、地震時の建物挙動に影響を与えることがない止水装置とする。【解決手段】水平方向に開口した横スリット２５からの浸水を防止するための止水装置１である。横スリット２５の下側躯体２６に鉛直方向に移動可能に設けられ、上方に移動した際に横スリット２５の開口を閉塞する止水板２と、止水板２に取り付けられ、浸水時に浮力によって止水板２を上昇させる浮体３と、止水板２に取り付けられ、止水板２が横スリット２５の開口を閉塞した際に、横スリット２５の上側躯体２７に設けられた固定側パッキン５に当接するとともに、磁力によって固定側パッキン５に止着可能とされた可動側パッキン４とから主に構成する。【選択図】図３
