PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof device for an opening, which can suppress submersion under water from the opening opened/closed by an opening/closing body.SOLUTION: A waterproof device for an opening includes a sheet 10 that communicates indoor and outdoor sides of a structure with each other and that is installed in an opening opened/closed by an opening/closing body 4, and a holding part for holding the sheet for the structure in a position on the outdoor side with respect to the opening/closing body. The holding part holds the sheet in such a manner as to close a vertical lower end side of the opening by making the sheet integrally cover a predetermined part on the vertical lower end side of the opening/closing body and a part, adjacent to the predetermined part, of the structure. The sheet is installed in the state of having a vertical lower end sandwiched between the opening/closing body and a floor surface 8.
