PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curve mirror capable of helping a vehicle driver to drive and preventing a traffic accident.SOLUTION: The curve mirror is placed at a roadside and comprises a vehicle information display device for displaying vehicle information for the driver. The vehicle information display device comprises: vehicle detection means placed on a road a certain distance away from the curve mirror for detecting vehicle passing; reception means for receiving detection information on the vehicle passing by means of the vehicle detection means; display means for displaying the vehicle information; and control means for controlling displaying the vehicle information, wherein the vehicle detection means includes a geomagnetic sensor for detecting the vehicle passing on the basis of a geomagnetic change, and a radio communication unit for transmitting the detection information on the vehicle passing by means of the geomagnetic sensor to the reception means through radio communication, and the display means displays to the vehicle driver that a vehicle is approaching when the vehicle detection means detects the vehicle passing.
【課題】車両運転者の運転を支援でき、交通事故を防止することができるカーブミラーを提供する。【解決手段】道路際に設置され運転者に向けて車両情報を表示する車両情報表示装置を備えたカーブミラーであって、車両情報表示装置は、カーブミラーから一定距離離れた道路に設置された車両の通過を検知する車両検知手段と、車両検知手段による車両の通過の検知情報を受信する受信手段と、車両情報を表示する表示手段と、車両情報の表示を制御する制御手段とを備え、車両検知手段は、地磁気の変化から車両の通過を検知する地磁気センサと、地磁気センサによる車両の通過の検知情報を無線通信により受信手段に伝達する無線通信器とを有し、車両検知手段が車両の通過を検知した場合、表示手段は車両運転者に車両が近づいている旨の表示を行う車両情報表示装置を備えたカーブミラーとする。【選択図】図３
