PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genital area washing unit capable of ensuring stop operation and toilet bowl washing operation via a remote control.SOLUTION: A genital area washing system includes: a main unit; and a remote control unit disposed separated from the main unit. The remote control unit includes a light-emitting part which functions using a battery as a power source. The light-emitting part emits a light signal and the main unit receives the signal via a light receiving part and performs a predetermined operation according to the received signal. When the voltage of the battery lowers to a first preset voltage value, which is higher than a battery value at which the light-emitting part cannot emit the signal, every operation other than the stop and toilet bowl washing operations using the remote control unit are prohibited.
【課題】リモコンのストップ操作及び便器洗浄操作が実質上できなくなってしまうのを防止することができ、確実にストップ操作及び便器洗浄操作の動作を実行させること停止させることができる局部洗浄装置を提供する。【解決手段】局部洗浄装置の本体部とは離隔して配置されるリモコン操作部に電池を電源として働く発光部を設け、該発光部より光信号を発信してこれを本体部側の受光部で受信し、その受信信号に応じた所定の動作を行う形式の局部洗浄装置の動作制御方法であって前記電池の電圧値が、前記発光部からの発信が不能となる電池切れ電圧値よりも高い値で設定した第一の設定電圧値まで降下した時点で、前記リモコン操作部における動作停止のためのストップ及び便器洗浄操作以外の操作に基づく動作を実質上禁止することを特徴とする局部洗浄装置。【選択図】図１
