PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic material comprising an air-bubble board having improved acoustic absorption performance.SOLUTION: An acoustic material 1 comprises an air-bubble board 4 that has at least a cap sheet 41 having a plurality of protrusions 47 for forming a bubble 44, a back sheet 42 that is attached on an open side of the protrusions of the cap sheet and forms bubbles corresponding to the protrusions, and a liner sheet 43 attached on a tip side of the protrusions of the cap sheet 41. The air-bubble board 4 has an air chamber 45 formed in each protrusion 47 and a non-air chamber 46 formed outside each protrusion between the back sheet 42 and the liner sheet 43. An acoustic material body 2 made of the air-bubble board 4 has a small hole 22 allowing the air chamber 45 to be in communication with the outside. An end face 21 of the acoustic material body 2 is sealed to block the non-air chamber 46 from being in communication with the outside through the end face.
