PIPE CONNECTION JOINT STRUCTURE AND PIPE CONNECTION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for connecting pipes that enhances safety and simplifies work procedures.SOLUTION: A pipe connection joint structure 1 for connecting pipes 6 includes a tubular elastic body 20 of tubular form that is made of an elastic material and is inserted into the pipe 6, and a bolt member 30 and a nut member 40 that serve as a compression part for elastically deforming the tubular elastic body 20, in such a way to have the tubular elastic body 20 swell in the direction to enlarge the diameter by compressing the tubular elastic body 20 in the direction of tube axis. The tubular elastic body 20 is pressed against the inner peripheral surface 6b of the pipe 6 as the tubular elastic body 20 is elastically deformed due to compression in the direction of tube axis by the compression part when the tubular elastic body 20 has been inserted in the pipe 6, and a fixing effect for connecting the pipes 6 arises between the pipe 6 and the tubular elastic body 20, due to frictional resistance between the outer peripheral surface 21 of the tubular elastic body 20 and the inner peripheral surface 6b of the pipe 6.
【課題】パイプ同士を連結するために用いられるパイプ連結用ジョイント構造において、安全性の向上と施工手間の簡素化を図る。【解決手段】パイプ6同士を連結するために用いられるパイプ連結用のジョイント構造1は、筒状の外形を有し、弾性材料からなり、パイプ6に挿入される筒状弾性体20と、筒状弾性体20をその筒軸方向に圧縮することで、筒状弾性体20が拡径する方向に膨張するように筒状弾性体20を弾性変形させる圧縮部としてのボルト部材30およびナット部材40と、を備え、パイプ6に挿入された状態の筒状弾性体20の圧縮部による筒軸方向の圧縮にともなう筒状弾性体20の弾性変形により筒状弾性体20をパイプ6の内周面6bに圧接させ、筒状弾性体20の外周面21とパイプ6の内周面6bとの間の摩擦抵抗により、パイプ6と筒状弾性体20との間で、パイプ6同士を連結するための固定作用を得る。【選択図】図5
