PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve firing yield of a magnesia-spinel-zirconia brick exhibiting good property as a chromium-free refractory, thereby to economically provide the brick.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnesia-spinel-zirconia brick which contains, as chemical components, MgO of 55 to 90 mass%, AlOof 5 to 30 mass%, and ZrOof 1 to 10 mass% with the total amount of MgO, AlO, and ZrOof 95 mass% or more and is manufactured by mixing, molding, and then firing a blend consisting of molten MgO ZrOraw material as ZrOsource.
【課題】クロムフリー耐火物として良好な特性を示すマグネシア−スピネル−ジルコニアれんがの焼成歩留まりを改善し、当該れんがを経済的に提供可能とすること【解決手段】化学成分としてＭｇＯを５５〜９０質量％、Ａｌ２Ｏ３を５〜３０質量％、及びＺｒＯ２を１〜１０質量％含み、しかもＭｇＯ、Ａｌ２Ｏ３、及びＺｒＯ２の合量が９５質量％以上であるマグネシア−スピネル−ジルコニアれんがであって、ＺｒＯ２源が溶融ＭｇＯ・ＺｒＯ２原料からなる配合物を、混練し成形後に焼成してなるマグネシア−スピネル−ジルコニアれんがである。【選択図】なし
