LANDSLIDE DETECTION SYSTEM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landslide detection system which enables highly accurate detection of landslides by allowing a metal tube of an optical fiber cable to be reliably deformed at positions of low-strength portions and detecting associated deformation of optical fiber core wires.SOLUTION: A landslide detection system includes a light source unit 23 for generating an optical signal, a light reception unit 24 for receiving the optical signal, and an optical fiber cable 16 comprising optical fiber core wires 22A, 22B for transmitting the optical signal inserted through a metal tube 21. The metal tube 21 has low-strength portions 21A, which make it easy for the metal tube 21 to be deformed when subjected to external force, located at a plurality of points in a longitudinal direction thereof. The optical fiber cable 16 has easily-displaceable sections located at a plurality of points in the longitudinal direction thereof, where each easily-displaceable section covers a predetermined range, including a low-strength portion 21A, in which the metal tube 21 is more easily displaced than outside the range. Displacement of the easily-displaceable section induces deformation of the low-strength portion 21A, and changes in the optical signal on the optical core wires 22A, 22B associated with the deformation of the low-strength portion 21A is detected to detect a landslide.
【課題】光ファイバケーブルの金属管を低強度部の位置でより確実に変形させ、これに伴う光ファイバ心線の変形により土砂の崩落を高精度で検知できる土砂崩落検知システムを提供する。【解決手段】光信号を発信する光源部23と、光信号を受信する受光部24と、光信号を伝達する光ファイバ心線22A,22Bが金属管21に挿通された光ファイバケーブル16とを有し、金属管21は、長手方向にわたる複数箇所に、外力を受けた場合に金属管21の変形を容易とする低強度部21Aが設けられており、光ファイバケーブル16は、長手方向の複数の箇所に、低強度部21Aを含んだ所定範囲で該所定範囲外よりも金属管21が容易に変位する易変位部が設けられており、易変位部での変位により低強度部21Aでの変形が誘発され、低強度部21Aでの変形に伴う光ファイバ心線22A,22Bの光信号の変動により土砂の崩落を検知する。【選択図】図3
