PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot and cold water mixing valve device capable of ensuring a wide operation range in which a use frequency is high and water discharge in a low flow rate area is possible, and capable of facilitating flow control.SOLUTION: A hot and cold water mixing valve device 1 of this invention includes a fixed valve element 14, a movable valve element 16 opening and closing a hot water passage and a water passage of the fixed valve element, and an operation lever member turning to a direction crossing a sliding surface of the movable element with an operation handle of a hot and cold water mixing faucet device in a range of a prescribed operation angle and operating the movable element. A prescribed flow control operation angle θ includes a full close state operation angle θ0, a full open state operation angle θmax, and an intermediate open state operation angle θ2 between the full close state operation angle and the full open state operation angle, and a communication passage 16a of the movable valve element includes a flow-rate throttling projections 32 and 34 for setting a flow rate of hot water passing through the communication passage to be within a low flow rate region less than a half of a maximum flow rate when the intermediate open state operation angle θ2 is an operation angle nearly in the middle of the full close state operation angle and the full open state operation angle.
【課題】使用頻度が高く低流量域内の吐水が可能な操作範囲を大きく確保することができ流量調節をし易くすることができる湯水混合バルブ装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の湯水混合バルブ装置１は、固定弁体１４と、この固定弁体の通湯路及び通水路を開閉する可動弁体１６と、湯水混合水栓装置の操作ハンドルと共に可動弁体の摺動面に対して交差する方向に所定の操作角度の範囲で回動して可動弁体を操作する操作レバー部材と、を有し、所定の流調操作角度θは、全閉状態操作角度θ０と、全開状態操作角度θｍａｘと、全閉状態操作角度と全開状態操作角度との間にある中間開状態操作角度θ２と、を備え、可動弁体の連通路１６ａは、中間開状態操作角度θ２が全閉状態操作角度と全開状態操作角度とのほぼ中間の操作角度であるときに、連通路を通過する湯水の流量を最大流量の半分未満の低流量域内に設定する流量絞り用の突起３２，３４を備えている。【選択図】図４
