VIBRATION REDUCTION DEVICE AND BASE ISOLATION STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction device and a base isolation structure having the vibration reduction device in which an attenuation coefficient can be increased at a displacement exceeding its assumption, an axial force can be increased up to a relief load, the axial force can be reduced rapidly when the displacement is returned and increasing of an acceleration near the maximum displacement can be restricted.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vibration reduction device A for reducing a relative vibration between the two members showing relative vibration. The vibration reduction device comprises: a cylinder 1; a piston 4 for defining the inside part of the cylinder 1 into the first partition chamber 2 and the second partition chamber 3; a relief valve 9; a piston rod 5 having one end connected to the piston 4 and the other end 5a connected to the other member; and the first connecting pipe 15 and the second connecting pipe 16 for communicating with the first partition chamber 2 and the second partition chamber 3. In addition, working fluid R is filled in the first partition chamber 3, the first connecting pipe 15 and the second connecting pipe. Each of the first connecting pipe 15 and the second connecting pipe 16 is provided with an orifice 17 and a pressure control valve 18.
【課題】想定を超えた変位で減衰係数増大させてリリーフ荷重まで軸力を増大させ、変位が復帰する際に速やかに軸力を低減させて最大変位近傍の加速度増大を抑制することを可能にする振動低減装置及びこれを備えた免震構造物を提供する。【解決手段】相対振動する二部材の間の相対振動を低減させるための振動低減装置Aであって、シリンダー1と、シリンダー1の内部を第1隔室2と第2隔室3に区画するピストン4と、リリーフ弁9と、ピストン4に一端を接続し、他端5aを他方の部材に接続して配設されるピストンロッド5とを備え、且つ、第1隔室2と第2隔室3を連通させる第1連結管15及び第2連結管16を備える。また、第1隔室2と第2隔室3と1連結管15と第2連結管16に作動流体Rを充填して構成するとともに、第1連結管15と第2連結管16にそれぞれ、オリフィス17と圧力制御弁18を設けて構成する。【選択図】図2
