CARBONATION TREATMENT METHOD OF STEELMAKING SLAG
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonation treatment method of steelmaking slag which is for effective utilization of steelmaking slag as a substitute for construction materials and building materials and enables effective utilization of COin exhaust gas, a target of emission suppression from the standpoint of global warming prevention.SOLUTION: A carbonation treatment method of steelmaking slag comprises supplying a CO-containing gas containing carbon dioxide to steelmaking slag to bring the steelmaking slag into contact with the CO-containing gas so as to carbonate water-soluble Ca ingredients in the steelmaking slag for insolubilization. The COconcentration of the CO-containing gas is 1 vol.% or higher and lower than 100 vol.%, and the pH required for slag elution water from the treated slag is controlled as a multivariable function of the treatment time for the carbonation treatment, the content of soluble Ca ingredients contained in the steelmaking slag and the COconcentration of the CO-containing gas.
【解決課題】製鋼スラグを土木材料、建築材料等の代替品として有効利用するための製鋼スラグの炭酸化処理に際し、地球温暖化防止の観点から排出抑制が求められる排ガス中のＣＯ2を有効に利用することができる製鋼スラグの炭酸化処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】製鋼スラグに二酸化炭素を含むCO2含有ガスを供給して接触させ、製鋼スラグ中の水可溶性Ｃa成分を炭酸化し不溶化させる製鋼スラグの炭酸化処理方法であり、CO2含有ガスのCO2濃度が１体積%以上１００体積%未満であって、炭酸化処理の処理条件に関して、処理済スラグからのスラグ溶出水に対して要求されるｐＨが、炭酸化処理の処理時間、製鋼スラグ中に含まれる水可溶性Ｃa成分の含有量、及びCO2含有ガスのCO2濃度の多変数関数として制御されることを特徴とする製鋼スラグの炭酸化処理方法。【選択図】なし
