PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase covering structure which is excellent in workability and which enables a lower end of a nosing covering part of a covering material to be firmly joined to a riser part of a staircase, and a staircase covering method.SOLUTION: A staircase covering structure includes: a first covering material that comprises a tread part for covering a tread of a staircase, a lower edge for covering a riser surface continuing into the downside of the tread, and a nosing part for covering a nosing where the tread and the riser surface cross each other; and a second covering material for covering the riser surface. A lower end of the lower edge of the first covering material is welded to the second covering material. A staircase covering method is used for the staircase covering structure.
【課題】作業性に優れ、被覆材の段鼻被覆部の下端を階段の蹴上げ部に強固に接合できる階段被覆構造および階段被覆方法を提供する。【解決手段】階段の踏み面を覆う踏み面部と前記踏み面の下側に続く蹴上げ面を覆う下縁部と前記踏み面と前記蹴上げ面とが交差する段鼻を覆う段鼻部とからなる第一被覆材と、前記蹴上げ面を覆う第二被覆材と、を備え、前記第一被覆材の下縁部の下端が前記第二被覆材に溶接されている階段被覆構造であり、またその階段被覆方法である。【選択図】図１
