PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber bearing body that hardly causes an ozone crack on a rubber surface of a laminate.SOLUTION: A rubber bearing body includes an upper shoe 7 that is fixed to an upper end surface of a laminate 2 in which a steel plate 3 and a rubber layer 4 are stacked, and a lower shoe 8 that is fixed to a lower end surface of the laminate 2. A groove 9 is formed in at least a range on the side of a bridge axis direction X, in a position corresponding to corner parts of end steel plates 5 and 6 in a longitudinal-section view of a rubber surface of the laminate 2 of the rubber bearing body 1 made of the end steel plates 5 and 6 thicker than the steel plate 3, on at least one of the upper and lower end surfaces of the laminate 2.
