METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRANSLUCENT ALUMINA SINTERED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for producing a translucent alumina sintered body, which enables accurate adjustment of a firing shrinkage ratio by a simple method.SOLUTION: The method for producing a translucent alumina sintered body comprises: a slurry forming step of mixing alumina and water to form a slurry; a binder addition step of adding a binder to the slurry; an ultrasonic treatment step of applying ultrasonic waves to the slurry to which the binder has been added; a casting step of filling the slurry to which the ultrasonic waves have been applied into a gypsum mold, holding the same for a specified time, drying, and demolding to form a molded body; and a firing step of firing the molded body.

【課題】簡単な方法で、焼成収縮率を正確に調整することができる、透光性アルミナ焼結体を製造する技術を提供する。【解決手段】透光性アルミナ焼結体の製造方法は、アルミナ、及び、水を混合してスラリーを生成するスラリー生成ステップと、前記スラリーにバインダーを添加するバインダー添加ステップと、前記バインダーを添加したスラリーに超音波を印加する超音波処理ステップと、前記超音波を印加したスラリーを石膏型に充填し、所定の時間保持し、乾燥し、離型し、成形体を形成する鋳込み成形ステップと、前記成形体を焼成する焼成ステップと、を有する。【選択図】図４Ａ
