PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed soil for an impermeable layer, which can be simply and inexpensively manufactured, and a blending design method for the mixed soil.SOLUTION: A mixed soil for forming an impermeable layer 2 of an intermediate storage facility 1 for waste containing a radioactive substance is prepared by mixing bentonite with a parent material composed mainly of fragile rock. The parent material is an excavation surplus soil of fragile rock of a rock classification section of classes Cto D having no size control, and the bentonite is mixed at a mixing ratio to a dry weight of the mixed soil within 5% to 10%.
【課題】簡易かつ安価に製造することが可能な不透水層用の混合土および混合土の配合設計方法を提供する。【解決手段】放射性物質を含有する廃棄物の中間貯蔵施設１の不透水層２を形成するための混合土であって、脆弱岩を主体とする母材にベントナイトを混合してなり、母材は、粒度調整がなされていない岩級区分がＣＬ〜Ｄ級の脆弱岩の掘削残土であり、ベントナイトは、混合土の乾燥重量に対する混合率が５％〜１０％の範囲内で混合されている。【選択図】図１
