PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which is constructed on a surface of a building material, which improves visibility of the building material, which is excellent in impact resistance, and which can be simply constructed.SOLUTION: A luminaire 1 includes: a long base material 12; a light source that is arranged at one end or both ends of the base material 12; a rod-like light guide member 14 that is provided on a surface 12a of the base material 12 and that receives light from the light source to emit the light from a side surface; and a protective member 20 that is made of a transparent resin and that coats the light guide member 14 not to expose it. Preferably, the protective member 20 is made of a flexible transparent resin.
【課題】建材の表面に施工される照明装置であって、前記建材の視認性を高め、耐衝撃性に優れ、且つ簡易に施工可能な照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】照明装置１は、長尺な基材１２と、基材１２の一端又は両端に配設された光源と、基材１２の表面１２ａに設けられ、前記光源からの光を受けて側面発光する棒状の導光部材１４と、透明樹脂からなり、導光部材１４を露出しないように被覆している保護部材２０と、を備えている。保護部材２０は軟質の透明樹脂からなることが好ましい。【選択図】図２
