PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/close unit having a mechanical obstacle detection structure free from being subject to an influence of power supply failure etc.; particularly, superior in operation performance of an automatic closing device and a brake mechanism.SOLUTION: The open/close unit includes a back plate interlock mechanism A which is linked to an upward movement of the movable back plate 12 to change a brake mechanism 42 from a release status to a breaking status. The back plate interlock mechanism A includes: a tension-raising mechanism 90 that raises a movable back plate 12 to increase the tension on a first string member a1; a rotation body 70 which is arranged to rotate in a direction being pulled by the first string member a1 to which the tension is increased by the tension raising mechanism 90; and a second string member a2 with one end fixed to the outer periphery of the rotation body 70 to pull the lever member 52 of the brake mechanism 42 to a return position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
【課題】 電源不良等の影響を受け難い機械的な障害物感知構造を有する上、特に自動閉鎖装置及びブレーキ機構の作動性が良好な開閉装置を提供する。【解決手段】 可動座板12の上方への移動に連動してブレーキ機構42を解除状態から制動状態にする座板連動機構Aを備えた開閉装置であって、座板連動機構Aは、可動座板12の上方への移動により第一紐状部材a1の張力を上昇させる張力上昇機構90と、該張力上昇機構90により張力を上昇した第一紐状部材a1に引っ張られて一方向へ回転するように設けられた回転体70と、回転体70の外周側に一端側が止着されるとともにその他端側によってブレーキ機構42のレバー部材52を復帰位置側へ引っ張るように設けられた第二紐状部材a2とを具備している。【選択図】 図7
