RUNG FIXING STRUCTURE, STEPLADDER PROVIDED WITH THE SAME, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR RUNG FIXING STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure for fixing a rung securely on a support post and enhance productivity, when at least a part of the support post is inclined to a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rung.SOLUTION: A rung fixing structure is for fixing ends of a rung 4 to a pair of support posts 3, the rung being spanned between the pair of support posts 3. The support post 3 includes an inclined part 3b that inclines with regard to a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the rung 4, and the inclined part 3b includes a perpendicular surface part 31 that forms, on both inner and outer surfaces of the support post 3, support surfaces (31x, 31y) orthogonal to the axial direction of the rung 4 when the rung 4 is spanned between the pair of support posts 3 with both ends of the rung 4 fixed on the support posts. The rung 4 includes a body part 14 that forms a first sandwiching surface 21 coming into contact with the inner support surface 31x as an edge surface on both ends in the axial direction, and a flange part 15 that forms a second sandwiching surface 22 opposite the first sandwiching surface 21 and coming into contact with the outer support surface 31y, and is pressed against and sandwiches the perpendicular surface part 31 along with the body part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
