PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid material capable of obtaining a sintered body having excellent wear resistance, when being used as a material for the sintered body; and to provide a sintered body, a cutting tool containing the sintered body, a production method of a rigid material and a production method of the sintered body.SOLUTION: A rigid material contains at least one kind selected from aluminum, nitrogen, titanium, chromium and silicon, and has a cubic crystal rock salt structure. The rigid material also contains 0.1-3.0 mass% copper, and further contains a 0.5-5.0 mass% metal containing at least one kind selected from iron, nickel and cobalt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】焼結体の材料として用いた場合に、優れた耐摩耗性を有する焼結体を得ることのできる硬質材料、ならびに焼結体、焼結体を含む切削工具、硬質材料の製造方法、焼結体の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】アルミニウムと、窒素と、チタン、クロム及びケイ素から選択される少なくとも1種とを含み、立方晶岩塩型構造を有する硬質材料。更に銅と0.1〜3.0質量%を含み、その上、鉄、ニッケル及びコバルトから選択されてる少なくとも1種を含む金属を0.5〜5.0質量%含む硬質材料。【選択図】図1
