PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an unnecessary power consumption of a human body detection sensor.SOLUTION: An automatic faucet device which detects a human body by a human body sensor and automatically performs discharged water control comprises: period setting means of setting an operation period of the human body detection sensor in a current time zone to a first period or a second period in a group of periods shorter than the first period according to the number of times of past discharged water control in every predetermined time zone; and period change means of changing the operation period of the human body detection sensor in at least part of the remaining time of the current time zone from a setting of the second period to a setting of a third period in a group of periods which are longer than the set second period and include the first period when the discharged water control is performed in the current time zone after the period setting means sets the operation period to the second period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】人体検知センサの無駄な電力消費を抑制する。【解決手段】人体検知センサによって人体を検知して自動的に吐止水制御を行う自動水栓装置が、予め定められた時間帯毎の過去の吐止水制御の回数に応じて、現在の時間帯における人体検知センサの動作周期を、第１周期又は前記第１周期よりも短い周期群のうちいずれか１つの第２周期に設定する周期設定手段と、周期設定手段が動作周期を第２周期に設定した後、現在の時間帯の間に吐止水制御が行われると、現在の時間帯の残りの時間のうち少なくとも一部の時間における人体検知センサの動作周期を、第２周期の設定から、設定された第２周期よりも長く第１周期を含む周期群のうちいずれか１つの第３周期の設定に変更する周期変更手段と、を備える。【選択図】 図６
