PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic composition capable obtaining a hardened body having excellent shrinkage reduction effect even in a high-temperature environment and capable of having a proper amount of air and maintaining good freeze-thaw resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydraulic composition which comprises an alkylene oxide adduct represented by the general formula (1) and in which the cloud point of a 1 mass% aqueous solution of the alkylene oxide adduct is 18 to 72°C.
